Put on your shoes, a guide will take you to the slopes of Mont Beuvray for a 3-hour walk!
Every Tuesday during the summer, this visit alternates approaches and themes: discovery of the forest, landscapes, traces left by archaeologists. This year in particular, these themes are to be linked to the exhibition "Portrait of a territory. Le pays du Beuvray".
In order to vary the pleasures and approaches, three types of visits are offered in alternation:
Archaeo-nature tour
Protected by the forest, you will take the path along the ancient ramparts of the oppidum and then enter the Gallic town. During this visit, you will discover the excavation sites in progress as well as spectacular landscapes and a preserved natural environment.
Visits proposed on Tuesdays 6 July, 27 July and 3 August (in french)
The Beuvray strolls
A visit that fills the eyes and the head! The strolls offer you an approach to the whole of Mont Beuvray, the eye is drawn to everything and the mind is carried away. An archaeologist's step, a botanist's step, a storyteller's step, a geographer's step... Your guide will take you in search of the spirit of the place by way of side roads. Some slopes are a little steep but the itinerary is accessible to all.
Visits proposed on Tuesdays 13 July, 17 August and 31 August (in french)
The visits of the Morvan Regional Nature Park
Once again this year, the Park's agents will tell you about their vision of the Mont Beuvray forest and the way it is managed and protected.
Visits proposed on Tuesdays 20 July and 10 August (in french)
Younger children can follow "La Balade Curieuse" which takes place at the same times.
