A simplified processing chain for 3D digitisation of Europe's heritage
The EUreka3D project, which stands for European Union REKonstructed content in 3D, aims to support the digital transformation of the heritage sector by offering small cultural institutions the construction, training and new services they need to meet the challenge of making progress in the digitisation effort, particularly as regards 3D digitisation, access, storage and sharing.
Funded by the European Union's Digital Europe programme, this project, which runs from 2023 to 2024, brings together 9 partners:

3D scans accessible to all on Europeana
Europeana is a digital collection that makes available to the public a wide variety of cultural heritage resources from more than 3,700 European institutions. It enables Internet users to search for works of art, archaeological objects, books, films, music, etc., save them and share them, notably through the creation of private or public galleries.
The 3D scans produced as part of this project will be grouped together by theme in several public galleries and supplemented by blogs aimed at the general public and professionals.
Bibracte will make available almost 400 3D models of objects representative of the material culture of the late Iron Age, as well as the remains of the oppidum.
