Welcome to Bibracte

The archaeological site of Bibracte is located on Mount Beuvray, in a green setting where the forests are as imposing as the landscape.
Bibracte brings back to life a part, and not the least, of the daily life of the Gauls: the kitchen!
From Mont Beuvray, there are a number of walking routes that allow you to discover the Bibracte archaeological site on foot and explore the unspoilt countryside.
Bibracte-Morvan des Sommets is also a Grand Site de France, bringing together 12 rural communes surrounding the three main peaks of the Morvan: Mont Beuvray (821 m), Mont Préneley (855 m) and Haut-Folin (901 m). With its breathtaking panoramas and deep forests, lace up your hiking boots and explore the 1,100km of trails!
